• • Los niños mayores de 7 años deben realizar catequesis de preparación tanto para bautizo como para primera comunión.

  • Los bautizos en la parroquia santo domingo se celebran el último domingo de cada mes en eucaristía de 10:00 a.m. 

  • La fecha para bautizos en la capilla de la ermita se solicita con la hermana clara inés, en la ermita directamente, pero los requisitos se presentan en el despacho parroquial de santo domingo.

  • Los bautizos en el santuario de belén se celebran todos los domingos a las 08:00 a.m. y los requicitos se presentan en el despacho parroquial de santo domingo.

  • El cursillo prebautismal presencial para padres y padrinos se realiza el último sábado de cada mes en la capilla - la ermita: calle 5ta con carrera 2da, centro; horario de: 8:30 a.m. a 11:30 a.m. si no le sirve la fecha puede realizarse en otra parroquia, pero deben presentar el respectivo certificado.

• • Original birth certificate of the child.

  • Photocopies of the ID cards of the paternal and maternal grandparents. If they are deceased, provide their full names exactly as they appear on their ID cards.

  • Photocopies of the ID cards and Confirmation certificates of the godparents.

  • Godparents must be either married or single; they may not be living in a common-law (cohabiting) union.

  • Parents and godparents must have completed the pre-baptismal preparation course and present the corresponding certificate.

  • Offering ticket: COP $45,000 (Santo Domingo, La Ermita, and Belén).

  • Baptism ceremony offering at Belén Shrine: COP $50,000. This contribution is paid directly at Belén.

Important Notes 

• • Children over 7 years of age must complete catechetical preparation for both Baptism and First Holy Communion.

  • Baptisms at Santo Domingo Parish are celebrated on the last Sunday of each month during the 10:00 a.m. Mass.

  • To schedule a baptism at La Ermita Chapel, please contact Sister Clara Inés directly at La Ermita. However, all required documents must be submitted to the Santo Domingo Parish Office.

  • Baptisms at the Belén Shrine are celebrated every Sunday at 8:00 a.m. The required documents must also be submitted to the Santo Domingo Parish Office.

  • The in-person pre-baptismal course for parents and godparents is held on the last Saturday of each month at La Ermita Chapel (5th Street and 2nd Avenue, Downtown), from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. If you are unable to attend on that date, you may complete the course at another parish, provided that you submit the corresponding certificate.

La solicitud para matrimonio debe hacerla al menos uno de los contrayentes (novios) de forma presencial en el despacho parroquial; la reserva de la fecha del matrimonio se hace con mínimo 3 meses de anticipación para saber si hay disponibilidad.

Los siguientes documentos deben presentarse con 2 meses de anticipación.

Documentos:

• • Partida de bautismo reciente. (de los novios)

  • Partida de confirmación. (de los novios)

  • Registro civil original. (de los novios)

  • Fotocopia de cédula. (de los novios)

  • 2 fotos tipo documento. (de los novios)

  • Constancia de cursillo prematrimonial.

  • Fotocopia de cédula de los dos testigos.

  • Fotocopia de cédula de los dos padrinos.

  • Si uno de los contrayentes es viudo, presentar partida de defunción.

  • Si tienen hijos en común, presentar partidas de bautismo y registro civil de ellos.

  • En caso de no ser confirmados pueden solicitar la preparación para recibir el sacramento en la parroquia la santísima trinidad. (cel: 322 8676406)

Nota: 

• • Para dar inicio a los trámites y diligencias prematrimoniales debe presentarse al menos uno de los contrayentes.

  • Los documentos se deben presentar en el despacho parroquial dos meses antes de la fecha programada para la boda.

  • Para fechas de matrimonio en el santuraio de belén y en la capilla del la ermita debe ir directamente y consultar la agenda.

At least one of the engaged couple must submit the marriage request in person at the Parish Office. Wedding dates should be reserved at least three (3) months in advance, subject to availability.

The following documents must be submitted at least two (2) months before the wedding date.

Required Documents

• • Recent Baptism Certificate (for both the bride and groom).

  • Confirmation Certificate (for both the bride and groom).

  • Original Birth Certificate (for both the bride and groom).

  • Photocopy of the ID card (for both the bride and groom).

  • Two passport-size photographs (for both the bride and groom).

  • Certificate of completion of the Pre-Marriage Preparation Course.

  • Photocopies of the ID cards of the two witnesses.

  • Photocopies of the ID cards of the two sponsors (godparents).

  • If either party is widowed, a Death Certificate of the deceased spouse must be provided.

  • If the couple has children together, submit their Baptism Certificates and original Birth Certificates.

  • If either party has not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation, preparation for the sacrament may be arranged at Most Holy Trinity Parish (Parroquia La Santísima Trinidad). Phone: +57 322 867 6406.

Notes

• • To begin the marriage preparation process and complete the required paperwork, at least one of the engaged couple must appear in person at the Parish Office.

  • All required documents must be submitted to the Parish Office two (2) months before the scheduled wedding date.

  • For weddings at the Belén Shrine or La Ermita Chapel, you must visit the respective church in person to check availability and schedule your wedding.
